At the Nullagine Gold Project, Ashburton Crane Hire is providing crane hire services to Golden Eagle, supporting construction and site operations through a combination of long-term and flexible hire arrangements.
Scope of Works
The current scope includes:
- Long-term dry hire of a Franna crane for Anderson Construction
- Ad-hoc wet hire craneage to support construction and mechanical works
- Responsive mobilisation to meet changing site requirements
This mixed hire approach allows site teams to retain flexibility while ensuring experienced crane operators are available when required.

ACH Cranes Available
100t Demag Crane
The AC 100-4L is the most compact crane in its class, with a width of only 2.55m. Yet, it delivers impressively strong lift capabilities. With a long telescopic boom (59.4m) and a 10m swing-away jib for a total of 69.4m, this crane offers the longest system length that can travel on four axles at a 12t load level.
130t Demag Crane
The AC 130-5 is the most compact crane in its capacity class, with a total length of 14.45m and a carrier width of 2.75m. The crane’s single engine concept, start-stop function, and an intelligent motor management system keeps operational costs low and reduces maintenance needs.
160t Demag Crane
The agile AC 160-5 can squeeze into nearly any situation, with a width of only 2.75m and total length of 14.51m. Its 5-axle steering system, independent rear axle steering, and dynamic launch control enable it to navigate areas that would bog down other cranes.
20t Franna Crane
The Franna AT 20-3 is a mid-sized, mobile pick and carry crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 20 tonne. Boasting maximum safety features and superior capabilities than that of other pick and carry cranes in the field, the Franna AT 20-3 is an excellent mobile pick-and-carry crane able to operate in a wide variety of locations and site conditions.
220t Crane Tadano All-Terrain
The powerful Tadano ATF-220-5.1 can accommodate extremely high holding loads even in an intermediate area. Telescoping under load is possible up to 47.6t. It also boasts a lifting capacity up to 133t without auxiliary equipment.
25t Franna Crane
The Franna MAC 25-4 is a mobile articulated crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 25 tonne. The MAC 25-4 offers maximum safety, excellent roadability, intuitive operation and unmatched versatility. Over the years it’s design has been tried, tested and proven in a range of difficult lifting applications and is still a customer favourite today.
40t Franna Crane
The AT 40 is the newest addition to the Franna pick and carry portfolio, incorporating the latest technology with engineering excellence. With a huge maximum lift capacity of 40 tonne, this articulated crane boasts 44% more load moment than the MAC 25.
70T Grove Rough Terrain Crane
The Grove RT875 rough terrain crane has a capacity of 75 tonnes and a 4‑section boom with a maximum length of 38.1m. It has a telescoping swing-away lattice extension of 18.3m, with an optional lattice extension of 10.6m. It also features rugged a deep box section frame designed to handle tough conditions, and a host of other features which enhance its usefulness and flexibility at the job site.
95T Liebherr Crane
The Liebherr LTM 1095 all-terrain mobile crane has a maximum lift capacity of 95 tonnes, and a maximum telescoping main boom length of 58m, the longest in its class. It also has a lattice jib extending to a maximum of 26m. This crane features an unusual two-engine design with a performance-matched Liebherr crane engine to ensure efficient crane operation.
